Mis-remembrance can also manifest in repressed memory, where a person unconsciously blocks out an event or memory due to trauma or emotional discomfort. Similarly, it can also appear as confabulation, where false information is unconsciously generated and presented as genuine memory. All these synonyms signify the inaccuracy of memory and the potential for mis-remembrance. It is important to recognize the limitations of our memories and the potential for them to be flawed.
