GRP or Glass Reinforced Plastic is a composite material used widely in manufacturing and construction industries. Due to its versatile and durable properties, there are several synonyms for this material. One of the most common synonyms is Fiberglass. This term is derived from the glass fibers that reinforce the plastic matrix. Other synonyms for GRP include Glass Fiber Reinforced Polyester (GFRP), Glass Fiber Reinforced Epoxy (GFRE), Glass Fiber Reinforced Plastic (GFRP), and Glass Reinforced Epoxy (GRE).
