Corypha minor is a term used to describe a type of palm tree, hence it has no synonyms as it is a specific name for a particular species of tree. However, there are similar types of palms to it that can be confused with it such as the Corypha elata, which is an impressive species of palm tree native to the Andaman Islands. It is also known as Talipot palm and is one of the largest palm trees in the world, growing up to a height of about 30 meters. Its leaves can be as wide as 5 meters! Despite its impressive size, Corypha elata is often confused with Corypha minor due to their similar appearance.
