Body Mass Index or BMI is a commonly used term in the health and fitness industry. However, there are several synonyms that are used to refer to this metric. Some of the commonly used synonyms for BMI include Body Mass Quotient, Quetelet Index, and Adiposity Index. Others include Obesity Index, Body Mass Indicator, Body Mass Estimate, and Body Mass Rating. While all these terms refer to the same metric, there are often subtle differences in their usage depending on the context in which they are being applied. Regardless of the terminology used, however, BMI remains a key indicator of body fat and overall health.
